Why Are We Sent To Earth?

God put all of us on earth for a reason, to set out to accomplish our life purpose as I look at it. Before we were born we signed a soul contract planning out every aspect of our life, but when we are born we forget what we were sent here to do.

My Experience 

For the longest time I wondered what I was sent here to do. Since as far back as I can remember my teachers each year asked the class what we wanted to be when we grew up. It seemed like everyone had an answer,but me. I never really knew what I wanted to do with my life. Throughout school when I got this question asked to me I use to name off some sort of career that I thought I would like just to be asked the same question next year and name off a different career. I searched and searched for different careers I might enjoy, but nothing ever caught my eye.

The Moment Things Changed 

Then one day when my mom and I went on a long drive she asked me what I think I wanted to do with my life. I said " honestly I have no clue. I have looked and looked, but nothing has caught my attention." There was a moment of silence.  Then my mom said " you can create your own job. Millenials do it all the time. If they don't find a job that they like, they create it." This got me thinking and I realized that the answer to what I was meant to do in life was to use my disability to help other people.

What My Subconscious Was Hiding From Me 

Long before this point I didn't realize until now that I was subconsciously limiting what I really could do in life. My mom a few days ago told me something from one of the classes that she is taking that really shocked me. She said" humans are only conscious of 2% of their brain; which means when we make a decision the other 98% that includes our ego or our subconscious mind is already creating Limiting beliefs on the decision you made to try to protect you. Isn't that crazy?  I never knew that.  The ego is there for a reason, but sometimes you have to tell your ego it is ok in order to step out of your comfort zone. When I read this quote it made me realize and remember that we all have a mission to complete on earth, so if we are going to invest our time into something, why can't it be something we love?
